Arrow Reference

Well here I am! Still alive and full of imagination. Of course lately I haven't been that "into" lion king things. I find I sometimes go through spurts here and there which means I will do comic pages and then not do comic pages because my imagination will take me elsewhere. I also am not interested in Watership Down right now either which means I don't feel the need to work on that comic as well currently. I have been wanting to grow as an artist and plan to do so through hopefully someday publishing my own comic *dies from knowing how hard of work it is*. That being said I give you Arrow! (not even sure if I like his name yet or not either!).

This is a very, very, very rough draft of this character concept. Why? Because for one I need to find my OWN style I am comfortable drawing dogs in. If this is to be an original comic that I wish to publish I cannot use Ginga style (like I did above). I feel I may go with a more realistic style too with eyebrows on the dogs to help convey their attitudes to a higher degree. For now I am practicing dog anatomy (since I have never really had a strong point with drawing them). 

This is also a very rough idea that came into my imagination the other day and here I am drafting it out roughly. I am interested in all dog adopts as well as I search for characters to include in my original story? Have some I could buy from you, then link them below ^^

Also, if anyone has some dog anatomy pictures, please link them below! They will be super helpful! Expect this ti be updated later as I find my actual style to draw with. Styles take time I find, time that I struggle to find *cires*

Story Concept: 

Story will take place in todays world but with a slight turn. Some sort of plague will be happening around the world, spreading from city, to town, to country (much like the Ebola scare that was occurring). This plague happens to be killing off dog's best friend (mankind). With fewer humans living by the day, the dogs are forced to learn to live not only among each other but among the wild as well. Arrow is one of the main characters who will fall head over heels for a chocolate lab that I am yet to name (that character being based off my real life chocolate lab girl of course ^^). It is Arrow's idea to attempt to find any living humans left in hopes of bringing civilization back into balance through a much needed antidote. Being Domestic is all the canines know who have walked among the two-legged ones and it is what Arrow wishes to achieve before his kind starts dying off too.
